2nd Shift Warehouse Packer – $16.00-$18.00hr. +$1 Shift Differential DOE
This is a contract position with an opportunity to be hired full-time.
Location: Houston, TX 77051
Type: 2pm-11pm
Warehouse Packer Key Responsibilities
Must have hands-on experience handling PVF materials and be familiar with their storage, handling, and packaging requirements.
Assist with shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks and verifying incoming merchandise.
Sort and place PVF materials or other warehouse items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat; sweep, dust, and mop as needed.
Organize the warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
Wear the proper safety equipment at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Warehouse Packer Requirements
Experience handling PVF (Pipe, Valves, and Fittings) materials is required.
1-2 years of industrial warehouse experience in shipping and receiving.
Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to strictly observe all safety rules and regulations.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally over 100 lbs with equipment.
Must have vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
