Job Description

Title: Supervisor (1st or 2nd Shift)

Shift: 1st shift is 7am - 3pm, 2nd shift is 3pm-11pm (M-F, Saturdays if needed)

Pay: $50k-$55k depending on experience

Supervisor Role:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality rotationally molded products. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Lead to drive their production team towards excellence in efficiency, quality, and teamwork. The Group Lead will be responsible for overseeing the entire shift's operations and making sure that the production team is meeting all performance, safety, and quality standards. The Group Lead is expected to provide hands-on assistance, coaching, and training to the team. This position reports directly to the Production Manager and plays a key role in driving continuous improvement and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire shift’s production operations, ensuring all goals and quality standards are met
• Monitor and adjust production schedules and workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Provide hands-on support to the team, assisting with machine operation, troubleshooting, and other tasks as needed.
• Engage with team members regularly to build a positive work environment and promote a strong team culture. This includes regular performance evaluations with all team members and provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members.
• Lead, mentor, and train team members on rotomolding processes, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Regularly lead safety and training sessions on the floor, ensuring standards are taught and met.
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years' experience with rotational molding is preferred; experience working in a manufacturing environment is
• Leadership/supervisory experience is required
• Strong communication skills is required (with team members, management, and other departments)
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and projects is preferred
